General Assistants at Gatwick

We are seeking individuals to work with our client, who is the world’s largest independent provider of catering services for airlines. Our Client provides more than 200 million meals a year to their 270 plus customers at some 120 airport locations around the globe.

As a General Assistant the ideal candidate would undertake the following duties :

• Preparing, packing and setting goods within cargo units.
• Checking stock and flight trollies.
• Unloading incoming trollies from flights in preparation for sterilization.
• Picking and Packing duty free goods.
• Quality checking and Security Checks on cargo units.

The shifts you would be expected to work are from 6am in the morning, 5 days working and 3 days off with a finish time of 3pm. This is a 24/7 business so overtime Is consistently available for staff who wish to work longer hours.

This role would suit anyone who has worked within dispatch, hygiene services or a warehouse related role. Experience as a catering assistant, hospitality assistant, kitchen staff, picker, packer or nay other catering related role is desirable but not essential.
