Deputy General Manager required for a hotel and large banqueting operation in the heart of the North West . You will assist the General Manager and deputise in their absence. Ensuring guest satisfaction is the number one priority through all the hotels departments. Organising and running weddings and other conference and banqueting events is a important part of this job so you must have good knowledge of conference and banqueting operations management.Ensuring all health and safety, food hygiene and other company policies are adhered to. Training and development of staff members including interviewing and inducting new staff members. Management of cellars, stock ordering and managing the hotels restaurant and assisting in service. Adhering to targets and profit margins is an integral part of the job and the successful candidate must have a proven track record in this area.Previous experience in a fast paced
hotel and/or restaurant environment is essential. Good communication skills and strong leadership skills. You will have a passion for ensuring customers always receive the highest standard of service.

This is a full time role with a 48 hour contract
