Work a Ski Season in the Swiss Alps!
We are looking for an experienced chef who is talented and
passionate about their role. An exciting opportunity is available
to spend the winter season working in the kitchen of our boutique
ski hotel. We are looking to build our reputation as the best
restaurant in the village!
Working under the direction of the General Manager, you will have
experience of working in all kitchen sections and be a key member
of the kitchen team.
You will be working alongside the Head chef and Sous chef to provide an a la carte menu for the Hotel. Typically your shifts will consist of one breakfast shift per week, followed by 5 shifts on the evening doing dinner service.
We require hard working chefs who are confident in their abilities
but also have a strong desire to further their career and a real
passion for the food that they produce.
In general there will be maximum of 55 covers for breakfast and
evening meal. The lunch time trade can be unpredictable and
typically ranges from 10 covers to 40 covers.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and
delivering amazing hospitality to our guests. You will need an EU passport or residency for this position
Mountain Lodge is a small boutique ski hotel situated on the slopes
in a small hamlet in the Swiss Alps offering an amazing experience
to work in a small team and enjoy the mountains in your time
off.
- Proven ability in the catering industry
- Experience of working in all sections of an A La Carte
restaurant kitchen
- Catering qualification to NVQ Level 2
- Food Hygiene Certification
- Good organisational skills
- Friendly personality
- Good team player
