A well-respected family-run fish and chip shop on the seafront in Wells-Next-The-Sea is looking for a full time, permanent Catering Supervisor. The rota is a rolling 2 days on 2 days off, with a team meeting every Thursday morning. The business values its employees and offers well-structured training and future progressions within the company. You would be leading a team in the fish and chip shop takeaway and restaurant t alongside the day to day running of these areas. Other duties would include assisting the manager, ordering, food prep, keyholding, passing on key messages to the team and creating an inspiring environment.

Now is an exciting time to join the business as they are currently looking to reopen the restaurant area. This position would be the start of an exciting career as there is a set structure for you to develop your skills and qualifications.

As a Catering Supervisor, duties would include;

The general running of the takeaway and restaurant area.
Motivating and empowering your team.
Assisting the manager.
Ensuring health, hygiene and safety policies are followed correctly.
Locking and unlocking the premises.
The ideal Catering Supervisor would have;

Experience in leading a catering team.
The ability to motivate and inspire.
A background in catering or hospitality.
Excellent communication skills.
A professional but warm and friendly personality.
Catering Supervisor

In return, you would receive a salary of  £25000 a year. You will be working a 2 days on 2 days off shift pattern during summer with a more flexible rota over the winter. You would work on average around 45 hours a week across the year. You would receive 28 days holiday; this does not include bank holidays as they are regular working days within the rota
