Assistant Food Production Manager

Up to £40k

Our client, a food manufacturer based in South-west London are seeking an Assistant Food Production Manager to join their team.

Reporting to the Production Manager and Head of Production, the Assistant Production Manager will oversee production operations and ensure the products are prepared and packed. This is a hands-on role overseeing the entire production process.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production schedules
• Overseeing factory production equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance
• Ensure that strict food safety and health and safety guidelines are followed
• Work with the technical manager to implement company policies and procedures
• Monitor productivity rates, standards, and quality control
• Communicate issues to senior management
• Collect and analyse relevant data and communicate to senior management
• Responsible for training production operatives and supervisors
