Our client located in Barnet, North London is looking to recruit an Assistant Catering Manager 30 hours a week, 8am-3pm - Five days a week, term-time plus one week. You will play a crucial role in preparing and providing a high quality food and drink service to the school community and to deputise in the Catering Manager’s absence. The ideal candidate should:

Demonstrate effective teamwork skills and be able to collaborate well within the team.

Exhibit a friendly demeanour and maintain a positive 'Can-do' attitude.

Display a genuine passion for food and a commitment to delivering quality service.

Take a proactive approach to maintaining high standards, getting hands-on as necessary.

Adhere to excellent hygiene and health and safety protocols.

Show self-motivation and capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Ideally, have prior experience in food preparation and service, particularly within a school kitchen.

Possess proficient English language skills.

Be adaptable and capable of adjusting to shifting priorities.

Possess strong communication and interpersonal abilities, essential for interactions with staff, students, parents, and suppliers.
